Prompt engineering is the art and science of crafting inputs that guide AI models toward useful outputs. In vibe coding, this means learning how to describe features, constraints, and edge cases in a way the AI understands. Good prompt engineering includes: being specific about requirements, providing examples, specifying the tech stack, mentioning edge cases, and iterating on the prompt when the output isn't right.
It's arguably the most important skill in the vibe coding era.
